North Area Technical Rescue Team

At the direction of the North Area Fire Chiefs, the NATRT is currently working to develop a North Area Swiftwater Rescue Team (NASRT). Local swiftwater/floodwater rescue team leaders are working with the NATRT Board to make this new program a success.

The formation of this joint swiftwater/ floodwater response team will improve local, regional, state, and national response capabilities. The NASRT is working towards being designated as a Type I Swiftwater/Floodwater response team.

The NASRT committee meets every other month.
