North Area Technical Rescue Team

Registration for the 2022 Heavy Rescue Academy hosted by the North Area Technical Rescue Team is now CLOSED. Thank you to everyone for their interest and we anticipate bringing this training opportunity to you again in the future. Check back for further details on upcoming academies, details will be updated as they become available.

 

The academy will be taught in accordance with NFPA 1006 and will cover the four main disciplines practiced by the North Area Tech Rescue Team: ropes (3 days), confined space, (2 days) trench rescue (2 days) and structural collapse (2 days). The final day of the academy will consist of several complex scenarios that will challenge students to use their new skills in a simulated real world environment.
